The Engineering staff is responsible for maintaining the assets of the USS Omnus . This includes online assets, like the website and email list, and equipment, like public address systems or projectors.

Below are the volunteer “Duty Station” positions that fall under the Engineering Department. Active members who don’t wish to volunteer may request to be assigned to Engineering as a “Standard position” with no duties allocated.

Chief Engineering Officer

Lieutenant Commander Henry Swanepoel

The Chief Engineering Officer (CEO) is the Department Head for the Engineering Department of the USS Omnus. The Department Head acts as a communication conduit between the Command Department and the Engineering Department.

The CEO is the primary administrator of this website.
