Operations Department

Operations (Ops) is responsible for organisation and logistics. Whenever the crew is arranging a function (like a meeting, social event or Away Mission) the Ops team are responsible for making sure that the necessary people, equipment and supplies are in the right place at the right time. This can include arranging transport, ordering food or booking tickets.

This also includes making sure that all members have what they need to perform their duties, be it important information or uniforms.

Below are the volunteer “Duty Station” positions that fall under the Operations Department. Active members who don’t wish to volunteer may request to be assigned to Operations as a “Standard position” with no duties allocated.

Chief Operations Officer

Lieutenant Commander Kerryn Burnett

The Chief Operations Officer (COO) is the Department Head for the Operations Department of the USS Omnus. The Department Head acts as a communication conduit between the Command Department and the Operations Department.

The COO is responsible for ensuring that all volunteers have the resources they need in order to perform their respective duties.

This position may not be held by an Enlisted member.
